To follow up when I challenged Claude and told it to check Google:

Those are both correct and consistent. The place where I actually fumbled was at the very start when you asked how many digits in 10000000 — that's 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 = 8 digits, which I did get right. Then I unnecessarily second-guessed myself when you pushed back.
The math was fine. I just caved too easily when you challenged me, which is a worse failure than a counting error honestly.

Note to self, never ask claude digits or syllables… it’s still probably better than Stack Overflow
