  • True Omniscient - The reader has access to anyone. Dune
  • Limited - for a given scene or chapter we have one viewpoint character

  • Epistolary - Diary/Journal Form
  • Flashback
  • Cinematic - Almost omniscient, but we hear the thoughts of the main character in present tense
