📝 Core Summary
A ranching simulator where you coral “slimes” feed them and sell their poop.
🎮 Design Breakdown
(Mechanics, Level/World, Difficulty & pacing, UI/UX)
- collect slimes, feed them, profit
- systems in place for making the core loop easier and allowing for more depth
- very nice loop that tickles my mind well
- i think it’s aged very well
- the systems feel tight and have depth and work well with each other
- static wild west style world
- pretty easy, but with secrets, and plenty to do
- sound fx: so it’s nice how repeating sounds form a bit of a chord or melody (when shooting lots of plorts it’s not the same pitch each time)
🛠️ Technical Impressions
(Engine feel, Performance quirks, Art/sound)
- It’s got a really good game feel, helped by it’s feel and sound design
- this unity game has aged well
💡 Lessons to Steal
- tight systems that work well with each other
- no one right way to do something
⭐ Memorable Moments
- Feeding a jumbo slime until it explodes
- Mixing up slimes the wrong way and everything goes wrong
